Today, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Government of the Tula Oblast signed an agreement on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technology, and cultural spheres. Signatories to the document were Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Tula Oblast Governor Aleksey Dyumin, as informs the Tatarstan Presidential Press Service. The event took place at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
“The development of horizontal links between the regions is very important”, said Rustam Minnikhanov. He noted that Tatarstan had strong trade and economic relations with the Tula Oblast.
“Tatarstan is an advanced region, from which we have much to learn, to adopt new technologies. In turn, the Tula Oblast also has certain developments in various fields, which we are ready to share. Our colleagues have repeatedly travelled to Kazan to get acquainted with new practices. Today we cooperate in all areas”, added the Tula Oblast Governor.
