On May 24, the Lyceum with Extensive Learning of Chemistry for Gifted Children under the KNITU honoured its brightest, purposeful, and talented students.
The traditional festival of the Lyceum, Mendeleev's Hopes 2017, was held in the assembly hall. During the ceremonial event, outstanding students, prizewinners, and awardees of academic competitions and various scientific contests and projects received congratulations, were presented with diplomas and gifts from the Lyceum’s administration and honoured guests.
At the festival, the Lyceum’s students showed themselves to be remarkably creative. Playing the accordion by Nargiz Sherova and saxophone by Dmitry Polushin, a wonderful song about the school from the choir and its soloist Leysan Nizamova, a favourite performance of the Amethyst trio and a waltz from the 11th class – all this brightened up the festival.
