The Kazan Motor-Building Production Association (KMPO) became a participant of the All-Russian “No-Turnstile Week” campaign to be held within the occupational guidance project entitled “Working in Russia”. The event is held with the participation of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.
From 18 to 21 April, the company will host Doors Open Days for students of secondary schools, the Kazan Aircraft Engineering College, and the Tupolev KNITU-KAI.
In addition, a concert programme and performances by creative groups of educational institutions and KMPO were prepared for students. At the end of the meeting, the students received memorable gifts from the KMPO staff.
It should be added that during the week young visitors will be able to come over to the KMPO production sites and see what is usually kept far from prying eyes. They can make tours of the main production shops, the plant museum, and various departments. Within the tours, managers and leading experts of the enterprise will tell them how the work process is arranged, which new technologies are developed in the association, what are promising developments in mechanical engineering, and will show the students the company’s up-to-date equipment.
In general, this event will help students decide on their future profession and place of work.
