On April 24-25, Kazan will see a Community Forum for active citizens. The Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation will traditionally bring together representatives of regional governments, socially responsible businesses, NGOs and the media for training, seeking solutions to urgent social problems, and effective networking.
The Forum will serve as a meeting place for members of civic chambers, representatives of business, media, authorities, and, of course, civil society.
The Forum will last 2 days, during which the participants will have a rich educational and discussion programme. NGOs and active citizens will be told about the access of non-for-profit organisations to the social services market, two training programmes will be held: “Designing Social Changes” and “Communication and Presentation Skills for Government, Business and the Media”. A joint training programme dedicated to benefits, formats, and principles of cooperation with NGOs and civil activists will be open for representatives of authorities and businesses. Media representatives will learn how to tell the audience about a social project so that they like it, and will discuss the interaction with NGOs in the implementation of socially valuable projects. Within the framework of the discussion programme, the participants will dwell upon issues of interaction between businesses and NGOs, NGO development and support, volunteerism, and ecology.
