The 5th Smart Production Systems Jubilee International Summit that was held on April 6 to 7 in Sochi came to a successful conclusion. The key topic of the event was the transformation of production and control systems under the influence of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IoT).
The summit was organised by ANO Japan Kaizen Centre. The summit was held with the support from the Analytical Centre under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economy of the Krasnodar Krai and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.
For the first time ever, it was attended by representatives of such well-known enterprises as the Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities, Sberbank of Russia, Siemens, Bosh, Hitachi Construction Machinery, Russian Railways, Tatneft, Gazpromneft, Rostelecom, etc. More than 250 participants from 27 regions of Russia discussed the development vectors of new-generation production systems. This topic is quite new both for Russia’s and for global lean communities.
As part of the event, experts of companies from Japan, Germany, Finland, the UK, and Russia shared their experiences and results in various business areas.
