On 12 December 2015, the official ceremony of raising St. Andrew's flags on small-size missile ships “Zeleny Dol” and “Serpukhov” produced at Zelenodolsk Shipyard was held at the main naval base of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.

The ceremony was attended by Commander of the Black Sea Fleet Admiral Aleksandr Vitko, Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov, officials of the Tatarstan Government and Sevastopol Government, top executives of OAO Zelenodolsk Shipyard and OAO Ak Bars Holding Company.

Black Sea Fleet Commander Aleksandr Vitko pointed out that the ships which had come off stocks of Zelenodolsk Shipyard have been carrying out all the tasks with honour and dignity.

This summer, Project 21631 small-size missile ships were transited to Novorossiysk by inland waterways. There, they successfully passed factory trial and state tests. The ships then headed to Sevastopol, the place of their permanent deployment. These missile ships were the first vessels to enter the Black Sea Fleet within recent years.
