On 15 December 2011 according to the action plan of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade on implementation of the Strategy of Tatarstan Anticorruption Policy for 2009-2011, the staff of the Ministry passed briefing on prevention of corruption offences. Representative of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted the meeting. Participants of the workshop meeting were informed of the changes to the legislation regarding anticorruption activity.

On 15-16 December 2011 the delegation of the Soviet Union and Russian Federation cosmonauts will visit the Republic of Tatarstan. Through the program of staying in Kazan the delegation will meet with Mr. Mintimer Shaimiev, Tatarstan State Advisor. The guests will visit OAO KMPO, see the exposition of the museum of history of the plant, lay flowers to high relief of the distinguished soviet design engineer Sergey Korolyev. Representatives of the delegation will meet with the students and educators of the Tupolev Kazan National Research Technical University, visit the Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, familiarize themselves with the museum of the University’s history.

On 15 December 2011 the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade will host a close-out session of the interagency working group engaged in implementation of the Lean Production methodology. The meeting will be attended by the Tatar Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Affairs, Association of Enterprises and Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Naberezhnye Chelny and Trans-Kama Region, Tupolev Kazan State Technical University and OAO Kazan Scientific and Research Institute of Aviation Technology, industrial enterprises of the republic (OAO KamAZ, OAO PA ElaZ, OAO Kazankompressormash, OAO KMPO), mass-media.

On 9 December 2011, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov took part in the joint session of the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers and the Board of the Tatarstan Ministry of Internal Affairs “On the Course of Implementing the Tatarstan President’s Decree On Additional Measures to Ensure Road Safety in the Republic of Tatarstan”.

Meeting with heads of republic’s enterprises personnel departments
On 9 December 2011, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the meeting with the heads of personnel departments at the republic’s enterprises.
The meeting dealt with the issues of corporate assistance rendered by the enterprises to the institutions of general education, issues of targeted contractual training, logistical and intellectual components of the activities carried out by scientific and educational clusters, and occupational safety issues.

On 9 December 2011, President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed the Federal Law "On Amendments to the Article 24 of the Federal Law on Retail Markets and Amendments to Labour Code of the Russian Federation”. The Federal Law was adopted by the State Duma on 18 November 2011 and approved by the Council of Federation on 29 November 2011.

On 9 December, we commemorate the International Anti-Corruption Day as proposed by the United Nations. Pursuant to the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 04 May 2006 "On Corruption Prevention in the Republic of Tatarstan", the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade approved the "Programme for Implementation of Anti-Corruption Strategy for the Period of 2009-2011". The Ministry of Industry and Trade takes an active part in implementing the "Integrated Republic’s Anti-Corruption Programme for 2012-2014", approved by the Order No 687 of the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers on 18 August 2011.

On 9 December 2011, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will hold a meeting dedicated to the issues of organising the day-to-day activities of personnel departments and occupational safety at the enterprises.
The meeting will be attended by representatives of the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Economy, State Labour Inspection, Interregional Occupational Safety Association, enterprises and educational institutions of the republic.

On 8 December 2011, OAO KamAZ will hold a training workshop “Principles of Implementing Lean Production by the Example of OAO KamAZ Production System” as a part of the systemic activity of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade aimed to popularise the Lean Production philosophy and instruments and to teach Lean-technologies to the representatives of the republic’s government authorities, heads of the ministries and agencies, organisations and enterprises. The workshop will be attended by the Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.

Tatarstan is one of the most economically developed regions of Russia which provides some 4% of the all-Russian industrial output.
