On 26 November 2014, the Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting on issues of organisation and development of production processes of low-tonnage chemicals sector in Tatarstan. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Damir Safiullin, executives of enterprises and organisations of Tatarstan petrochemical complex, such as OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding, OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, OAO Kazanorgsintez, OAO Nefis Cosmetics, OAO Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant, OAO KVART, OAO Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant Silicone and a number of small benterprises, IT-Park Idea, Himgrad Technopolis, and representatives of academic and sectoral science.
During the meeting, the invitees discussed topical issues and promising areas of cooperation between industrial enterprises, development institutes, sectoral science, and engineering structures in low-tonnage chemicals sector development in Tatarstan.
On 25 November 2014, Kazan hosted the regular meeting of Board of Directors of OAO Tatneft chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
The attendees reviewed the results of OAO Tatneft budgetary performance during 10 months of 2014 and approved budgets for December of the current year and for 2015. The meeting also dealt with the main results of financing and business activities.
The Board of Directors also discussed some other issues of OAO Tatneft activities.
On 20 November 2014, Yelabuga Automotive Plant hosted the offsite seminar of chief engineers and technical directors of member enterprises of the Tatarstan Association of Enterprises and Entrepreneurs.
The mission of the event is to study main production processes of the Association; to share experience within the framework of technical re-equipping and improvement of the management system development; as well as cooperation development and enhancement and extension of cooperation between technical executives of Tatarstan enterprises.
On 20 November 2014, the meeting of Co-chairmen of the Working Group on Cooperation in Industry of the Intergovernmental Commission in Economic, Industrial, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation was held in Prague. The meeting was attended by Ravil Zaripov, the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade; Viktor Semenov, the Aide to the Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade; and Jiri Bruzha, the Head of the Working Group from the Czech side.
During the meeting, Activities Plan of the Working Group on Cooperation in Industry of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation for 2015 was signed between the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation.
On 21 November 2014, OAO TATNEFT in Almetyevsk hosted the Lean Conference on issues of lean production implementation.
The conference was attended by more than 230 representatives of Tatarstan enterprises, agencies, as well as 15 Russian regions, participants and winners of the International Contest on Lean Production, leading experts in lean production and production systems development.
Within the framework of the Lean Conference, participants studied the practice of effective employment of lean technologies at Russian enterprises representing our machine-building and petrochemical sectors.
On 20 November 2014, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the finals followed by the winners awarding ceremony of the Contest entitled “Use of the Two State Languages among Employees of Tatarstan Trade Enterprises”.
The mission of the contest is to enhance the professional growth of employees of trade enterprises operating in Tatarstan.
From 18 to 21 November 2014, delegation from Ingushetia comprising representatives of the republic’s executive and local authorities and headed by Muslim Yandiyev, the Head of Karabulak Administration Municipal Institution visited Tatarstan. The main mission of the visit was to study Tatarstan expertise in effective management and disposition of municipal properties. During the visit, the delegation visited Tatarstan executive authorities, Tatarstan Council of Municipal Formations, and Laishevsky District.
From 20 to 22 November 2014, Moscow hosted the 3rd International Forum ENES 2014 Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving.
The events of the ENES 2014 Forum were attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.
From 18 to 19 November 2014, Naberezhnye Chelny hosted the International Conference “Quality As Foundation for Competitive Strength of Current Automobile Industry”.
The Conference was organised by the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, OAO KamAZ, and non-profit partnership Volga Quality Centre within the framework of the annual Days of Quality in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The participants of the conference attended the production sites of OAO KamAZ, OOO Mercedes-Benz Trucks Vostok, and OOO Knorr-Bremse Systems for Commercial Vehicles.
On 18 November 2014, Delhi hosted the Tatarstan and India Business Forum with the participation of the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
The Forum was attended by representatives of the Indian business community interested in establishing cooperation and strengthening contacts with their Russian partners.
During the forum, the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Confederation of Indian Industry signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
