On 28 January 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular meeting of the OAO Tatneft Board of Directors. The participants summarised the results of administrating the 2014 budget of OAO Tatneft and approved the budget for February 2015.
A number of issues regarding the preparations to the 2014 annual general meeting of shareholders were also discussed.
On 26 January 2015, the meeting of the Republic’s Organising Committee of the World Aquatics Championships 2015 was held. The meeting was chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and was attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, and top officials of Tatarstan ministries and agencies.
During the meeting, leaders of 13 working groups within the Organising Committee reported about current issues in preparation.
Beginning in 2015, POZIS starts the full-cycle manufacture of refrigerator appliances, trading and medical equipment in compliance with Montreal Protocol on Substances That Deplete the Ozone Layer.
The transfer of its refrigerator appliances to green technologies is aimed to create eco-friendly and resource-saving technologies, as well as equipment that meet the main requirements imposed on up-to-date refrigerating appliances. Implementation of this strategic project helped POZIS to arrange the production of eco-friendly appliances by increasing their energy efficiency by an average of 15%.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a Decree on creating the State Committee to Combat Illicit Traffic, Illicit Manufacture and Trafficking Industrial Products Including Counterfeit Products. The State Committee will monitor and assess situation in this sphere in Russia, elaborate concepts, strategies and plans, as well as specific actions to combat illicit trafficking of industrial products.
On 22 January 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended two sessions of the World Economic Forum.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held several business meetings with executives of major companies. He also attended the panel session ‘Global Financial Stability’ to discuss the influence of post-crisis economic reforms on stability of the world’s financial system.
The mission of the Contest is to increase the professional skills of young blue-collar workers and specialists, and also to enhance the prestige of main mechanical engineering jobs.
After the Contest, the winners of the Professional Skills Contest were awarded.
The crews of KamAZ Master occupied the whole winners’ podium at Dakar rally. This victory became a result of highly professional and well-coordinated work of athletes, specialists, team leaders and executives of OAO KamAZ.

During the meeting, parties considered the issues of building a CCGT unit at the Yelabuga Thermal Power Station, elaborating a Plan and a Programme for Promising Development of Energy Sector in Tatarstan in 2015 and until 2020.
In January 2015, a new automated fuel filling station under Tatneft brand was opened in Ulyanovsk. It is the only automated fuel filling station in Ulyanovsk and is the 14th automated fuel filling station of Tatneft. It is equipped with up-to-date fuel dispensing units and convenient payment terminals.
Kamaz Master Team once again showed the dominance of Russian trucks at this prestigious international rally. The crews of Kamaz Master occupied the whole Dakar winners' podium. The Ayrat Mardeyev’s crew was the first, the Eduard Nikolayev’s crew ranked second, and the Andrey Karginov’s crew ranked third, while the Dmitriy Sotnikov’s crew was the fifth.
