On 1 April 2015, during the meeting of the Tatarstan Government, the parties discussed implementing the Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency State Programme in Tatarstan. For the last 7 years, Gross Regional Product in Tatarstan increased by 25.5 percent, up to RUB 1.6 trillion. The meeting, chaired by Acting Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, was held within the framework of the 15th International Symposium ‘Energy Saving and Energy Resource Efficiency’.
The parties discussed the progress in implementing the State Programme ‘Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020’. The meeting was attended by Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin, and the Head of the Energy Efficiency Department and Energy Generation for the Russian Ministry of Energy Aleksandr Mitreikin.
On 1 April 2015, Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre hosted the 16th International Specialised Exhibition ‘Energy. Resource Saving’ and the 15th International Symposium ‘Energy Saving and Energy Resource Efficiency’ held until 3 April 2015. The official opening ceremony was attended by Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Acting Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, etc.
On 27 March 2015, SEZ Alabuga hosted the official opening ceremony of Hayat Kimya plant in Yelabuga District.
The event was attended by Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Turkish Minister of Economy Nihat Zeibekchi, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Director General of OAO SEZ Alabuga Timur Shagivaleyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Hayat Holding Mehmet Avni Kigili, representatives of Turkish delegation, top officials of the Tatarstan ministries and agencies, etc.
The participants of the ceremony made a tour of the production facilities at brand new Hayat Kimya plant and had a look at the range of the end products including tissue paper.
