From 24 to 25 September 2015, Kazan hosted the 16th Scientific and Technical Conference ‘Russian Radio Electronics: New Challenges and Prospects’ under the auspices of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The conference was attended by top officials from the Russian Government Executive Office, the Tatarstan Government, Russian ministries and agencies, State Duma, Russian Ministry of Defence, regions of Russia, representatives of the state-owned corporations and top executives of the Russian radio-electronic complex enterprises and organisations.
On 21 September 2015, Acting Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov had a meeting with the representatives of the State of Kuwait. During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and Kuwait.
The Acting Tatarstan Prime Minister noted that this visit will give a new impetus to the successful and long-term cooperation between the two republics. He thanked the members of the Kuwait delegation for their commitment to develop trade, economic and investment cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade summarized the results of the regional stage of the All-Russian contests held within the 4th International Energy Efficiency and Energy Development Forum ‘ENES-2015’.
The best projects of the regional stage will be sent for the further participation in the federal stage of the contests.
19 September is a Gunmaker’s Day. The products of the Russian Helicopters holding (a part of the Rostec Corporation) participated in the Race for the Design Bureau Mil Cup that took place on 19 September 2015 at Moscow-area Fox Lodge sport shooting club.
Russian Helicopters presented the light multipurpose Ansat helicopter, developed and manufactured by the Kazan Helicopters (a part of the Russian Helicopters) to the participants and attendees of the event.

The Republic of Tatarstan is among the leading regions of Russia in development of trade and economic cooperation with Kazakhstan. It was declared by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on 16 September 2015 during the plenary session of the 12th Forum of Intergovernmental Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan in Sochi. The session was attended by Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
On 16 September 2015, Kazan hosted Tatarstan-Slovenian Business Forum within the framework of the 12th Session of the Russian-Slovenian Intergovernmental Commission for Trade, Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov noted that within the framework of the Session of the Intergovernmental Commission, Tatarstan has a chance to strengthen the already existing contacts and establish the new ones in various spheres.
On 14 September 2015, TANECO Complex has produced the 100 thousand’s tonnes of granular technical sulphur.
The product was sent by train to the port of Saint Petersburg and then to the port of Qingdao (PRC). China is one of the major customers of TANECO Complex.
Granular technical sulphur of TANECO is also exported to Finland, where it is used for paint and lacquer materials production.
On 15 September 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov attended the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Karl Erjavec.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, the Memorandum on Cooperation in the Spheres of Economy, Science, Technology, Environment Protection, Culture, etc. signed between Tatarstan and Slovenia will also stimulate joint activities.
