On 5 October 2015, the 5000th Ford Fiesta was manufactured at the upgraded Ford Sollers plant in Naberezhnye Chelny. The 5000th automobile is the one of Titanium series with a saloon body style, equipped with 1.6 litres petrol engine with a capacity of 105 hp and the PowerShift 6-speed automatic transmission.
On 4 October 2015, within the framework of his working visit to the city of Kyoto (Japan), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with President and Managing Director of Yokogawa Electric Corporation Takashi Nishijima.
Rustam Minnikhanov and Takashi Nishijima signed the Protocol of Intent between the Republic of Tatarstan and Yokogawa Electric Corporation, which will determine the direction for cooperation for the next 3 years.
On 1 October 2015, the city of Sukhumi hosted the round table discussions between the Tatarstan and Abkhazia business communities within the framework of the visit of the Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to Abkhazia.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the main aim of his visit to Abkhazia is to expand the trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation.
According to the Tatarstan President, the priority areas for cooperation are agricultural sector, mutual tourism, automobile manufacturing, IT and other high technology, healthcare and pharmaceutics, transport, science, education, etc.
On 30 September 2015, Kazan hosted the Celebration of the Day of Mechanical Engineer.

On 28 September 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov addressed a traditional message to deputies of the Tatarstan State Council.
Tatarstan President advised the Council about the progress in republic’s economic, social, and cultural spheres and emphasised areas for Tatarstan development.
On 26 September 2015, Naberezhnye Chelny hosted the first regional preliminary round of the 3rd Republic’s TV Working Youth Creativity Festival ‘Nashe vremya – Beznen zaman’ that is held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
This year the Organising Committee of the festival received three times more applications compared to the last one. The aim of the festival is to create conditions for a full professional self-fulfilment of the working youth and to popularise the manufacturing industry among them.
27 September 2015 is the Day of Mechanical Engineer. Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov congratulated the long-service employees and workers of the Tatarstan mechanical engineering complex on the Day of Mechanical Engineer.
On 25 September 2015, round table discussions ‘Russian Non-Oil and Gas Export: Economic Development Thrust’ were held within the 16th Industry Scientific and Technical Conference ‘Russian Radio Electronics: New Challenges and Prospects’.
During thematic round table discussions, the participants discussed issues of practical application of measures to protect the domestic market from dumped and/or subsidized imports and state support of the Russian export and investments.
On 24 September 2015, Kazan Mountain Skiing Sports and Fitness Complex hosted the opening ceremony of the 16th Industry Scientific and Technical Conference ‘Russian Radio Electronics: New Challenges and Prospects’.
The official opening ceremony of the conference was attended by Acting Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Acting Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Andrei Boginsky, Russian Deputy Minister of Defence Yuriy Borisov, Director of the Department of Radio-Electronic Industry of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Sergey Khokhlov.
