On 16 November 2016, Kazan hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and Belarus First Deputy Minister of Industry Gennady Svidersky.
During the meeting in the Ministry, parties discussed issues of further cooperation development between Tatarstan and Belarus in manufacturing industry, including mechanical engineering and petrochemicals.
On 16 November 2016, the meeting was held between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and top executives of AO Kazenergo. During the meeting, parties discussed issues of the Heat Supply Scheme in Kazan.
To date, AO Kazenergo operates 132 operating boiler stations, 26 central heat supply stations, 262 km of heating systems’ pipelines. The annual volume of heat energy distribution is 1.9 million Gcal. A number of employees are 1570.
On 15 November 2016, during the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and top executives of Denmark-based Haldor Topsoe, parties discussed promising areas for further development of cooperation between enterprises and organisations of the Tatarstan petrochemical sector and the Denmark-based company.
Cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Haldor Topsoe is carried out in a number of large-scale projects. Tatarstan President noted that the licensed installations of Haldor Topsoe are operating steadily at production facilities of TANECO and Ammoni.
On 14 November 2016, within the working trip to Prague, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting of the Joint Working Group for Coordination of Trade and Economic Cooperation between Czech Republic and the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting of the Joint Working Group was attended by representatives of state administration bodies and commercial entities of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Czech Republic.
Co-chairmen of the Joint Working Group are Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jiri Koliba. During the meeting, parties discussed issues of the current state of, and promising areas for, bilateral cooperation.
Co-chairmen of the Joint Working Group Albert Karimov and Jiri Koliba have signed the Final Minutes of the 5th Session of the Joint Working Group for Coordination of Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Tatarstan.
On 13 November 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ildar Khalikov bestowed Grand Prix of Working Youth Creativity TV Festival “Nashe Vremya – Beznen Zaman” to the team from OAO Generating Company.
The award winner also received a diploma, money certificate in the amount of RUB 200,000, a Challenge Cup of the Tatarstan President and the Certificate that certifies that one of the stars in the Great Bear Constellation was named after the winner of the festival.
On 11 November 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Vice President of Ford Stephen Biegun in San-Francisco. The meeting was held within the events of U.S.-Russia Business Council.
Tatarstan President came up with the proposal to consider an opportunity of increasing the output of automotive components in Tatarstan that are currently used by Joint Venture Ford Sollers.
In turn, Stephen Biegun thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the meeting and expressed his confidence in the success of the joint project.
On 11 November 2016, the Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended events of the annual conference of the U.S.-Russia Business Council.
The panel session “Innovation and Russia’s Return to Growth” was held during the conference. At the session, questions were raised of how innovations could become a new driving force, which can help Russia become economically successful.
Within the conference, Tatarstan delegation participated in the special session dedicated to the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as in a number of business meetings.
Within the working trip of Tatarstan delegation to USA, San-Francisco hosted the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of California Jerry Brown. The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the USA Sergey Kislyak, Consul General of the Russian Federation in San-Francisco Sergey Petrov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, and others.
During the meeting, Tatarstan President noted that various US companies are developing today their businesses in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Tatarstan President has invited Governor of California Jerry Brown to visit the Republic of Tatarstan with a business delegation.
On 13 November 2016, the Pyramid Culture and Entertainment Complex will host the final gala concert of the Working Youth Creativity TV Festival “Nashe Vremya – Beznen Zaman”. It is scheduled that Tatarstan President will attend the gala concert.
Working Youth Creativity TV Festival “Nashe Vremya – Beznen Zaman” was established by Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Tatarstan Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and Tatarstan Sozvezdye Yoldyzlyk Youth Social Organisation under the auspices of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
In 2016, the festival comprised 867 participants from 165 enterprises and organisations of the republic: representatives of 32 Tatarstan municipal entities.

Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with top executives of Advenira Enterprises, Inc.in Sunnyvale, California.
Tatarstan delegation visited a campus of Google, Googleplex, located in Silicon Valley of California and had a meeting with top executives of the company.
Tatarstan delegation also had a meeting with top executives of 500 Startups and learned about activities of their business incubator.
They also studied a number of innovative solutions offered by SAP. The meeting was held in the company’s office in Palo Alto, California.
