Within the framework of implementing the Labour Productivity national project, the Professional Skills Development Agency (WorldSkills Russia), jointly with the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, is holding a series of “Innovators’ Marathon” events in 2021, aimed at creating a movement of innovators in Russia.
The Innovators’ Marathon will take place from September to December 2021 and will cover a wide range of topics that will be of interest to the employees of the enterprises participating in the national project, of all ages and regardless of their position. Biweekly educational online lectures will provide attendees with information on start-up technologies, solutions, and breakthrough innovations that have the potential to change the balance of values in the labour market. The practices and educational materials offered at the marathon will aim to increase the efficiency and productivity of businesses by training their employees, ultimately leading to increased profits for companies and entry into new markets.
In September, the Innovators’ Marathon events will take place in an onsite and remote formats with participants connecting via the Leader-ID platform. The online lecture entitled “Innovator: Why and How to Become One” will take place on 9 September 2021. The second educational lecture “The Tradition of Innovation from Gastev to Future STI Technology Start-Ups” will be held on 15 September 2021. The closing event of the Innovators’ Marathon in September will be a historical lecture entitled “The Culture of Organising Innovation. International Excursus”, which will take place on September 28, 2021.
