The Expert Council of the Industry Development Fund (VEB.RF Group) has approved a concessional loan of RUB 136.9 million to Tempo-Metiz, a resident of the Naberezhnye Chelny PSEDA.
With the aid of the loan, the company will begin production of state-of-the-art zinc-lamellar-coated self-tapping screws made of high-quality materials. Such self-tapping screws have high corrosion protection, resistance to chemicals and temperature fluctuations, as well as an aesthetic appearance with a choice of colours.
According to the company, 75% of self-tapping screws used in domestic construction are imported, while the project will replace foreign products and reduce imports down to 70%. In the course of the project, 41 jobs will be created, including 12 high-performance ones. The total project budget will amount to RUB 273.9 million, of which RUB 136.9 million can be provided by the Industrial Development Fund in the form of a concessional loan.
The Industrial Development Fund provides loans at 1% and 3% per annum to implement projects aimed at introducing advanced technologies, creating new products, or organising import-substituting production.
Under this programme, favourable loan co-financing is provided for projects aimed at import substitution, production of high-tech civil goods, and implementation of the best available technologies.
