The 9th Our Time - Beznen Zaman Working Youth Festival has been granted the auspices of the Russian Commission for UNESCO. This was announced in an official letter from Grigori Ordzhonikidze, the Executive Secretary of the Commission and Ambassador at Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the Directorate of the Festival.
“Today, the Festival, first organised in 2013, is an integral part of the cultural life of Tatarstan, a sought-after and socially significant project, whose goals and objectives fully meet the priorities of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in the field of youth policies”, the letter says.
In the letter, the Commission’s Executive Secretary wished the organisers success in the event, fulfilment of all their tasks, inexhaustible inspiration, and all the best.
Specifically, this year’s zonal rounds will take place as follows: October 8-9, Almetyevsk; October 15-16, Nizhnekamsk; October 22-23, Kazan; October 29-30, Zelenodolsk. The second stage will take place on November 12-13 in the Volga Region Academy of Sports and Tourism, where the Super Final will be held.
November 15, a gala concert will take place at the Pyramid Entertainment Centre, where a Grand Prix winning team will be announced and the traditional Tatarstan President Challenge Cup will be awarded, along with a cash prize of RUB 500,000.
