Russian Helicopters, part of Rostec Corporation, has delivered two Mi-8MTV-1 and one Ansat helicopter manufactured by the Kazan Helicopters to the State Transport Leasing Company. The rotorcrafts will be handed over to three operators within the Civil Aviation and Air Navigation Services sub-programme of the Transport System Development national programme, implemented with the attraction of funds from the federal budget.
The helicopters will go to Krasnoyarsk region, Tver region, and Bashkortostan, where, due to their versatility, they will perform passenger and cargo transportation tasks as well as be used for patient transportation.
The Ansat has been placed at the disposal of RusAvia and will perform tasks in Bashkortostan. The helicopter is equipped with a medical module to monitor the patients’ condition and provide them with specialised medical assistance.
The first Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter has joined the air fleet of KrasAvia which performs scheduled and charter flights on socially important routes to the Far North from Krasnoyarsk and regional municipal centres. The second rotorcraft has been handed over to Converse Avia and will be based in Tver. The airline performs operations in the Ural, Central, Northwest, Southern, Volga, and Siberian Districts of the Russian Federation, as well as provides aviation services for UN missions.
