Improving labour productivity in companies is one of the most pressing development areas in Russia. In Tatarstan, the Regional Competence Centre in Labour Productivity (RCC), which was established in 2017 on the basis of the Centre for Energy Saving Technologies of Tatarstan, is successfully implementing this area within the framework of the Labour Productivity national project.
To date, the Centre has been among the leaders in involving the region’s enterprises in the National Project. According to the results of the first quarter of 2021, RCC of Tatarstan ranks second in the Rating of Regional Competence Centres of the Russian Federation, as well as it is recognised as the most active region in implementing the Labour Productivity national project according to the results of 2020.
As of the end of June 2021, the RCC of Tatarstan exceeded the plan for involving enterprises by 10%. Already 120 enterprises from various sectors of the republic’s economy are participating in the project, with a target of 109 enterprises by the end of 2021.
The involvement of businesses in the project is well underway. The region is not stopping there, by the end of 2024 it plans to support at least 249 enterprises to improve their productivity.
