Tatarstan is hosting the Days of Yakutia aimed at presenting the comprehensive potential of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). From June 7 to 11, the delegation will showcase the products of the Made in Yakutia brand.

The first Yakutia-Tatarstan Interregional Forum was held today at the Kazan Town Hall. The forum was welcomed by Andrey Fedotov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to the President of the Russian Federation and First Deputy Chairman of the Sakha (Yakutia) Government, and Albert Karimov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan. During the Forum, the republics presented their investment, innovation, and tourism potential, discussed the cultural and historical links between the regions and their opportunities for interregional cooperation.

As noted by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, cooperation between such powerful regions is a special area of work, since Tatarstan is a leader in many economic indicators, while Yakutia has huge reserves of natural resources, culture, traditions, and tourism potential.

At the end of the Forum, a number of agreements were signed on establishing friendly relations between the municipalities of Tatarstan and Yakutia.
