Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Alabuga Polytechnic Educational Centre today.
The centre trains highly qualified specialists for resident companies of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone. Educational programmes of secondary vocational education based on the dual system, aimed at meeting the needs for qualified personnel for resident companies, have been implemented since 2019.
The Alabuga Polytechnic Targeted Production and Education Centre provides practical training for students in four of the most popular areas for Alabuga SEZ residents: laboratory chemical analysis; mechatronics and industrial robotics; electrical engineering; and industrial automation.
Timur Shagivaleyev, Director General of the Alabuga SEZ, gave explanations during the introduction to the Alabuga Polytech.
The students are taught practical skills by highly qualified tutors, acting engineers from resident companies. Practice-oriented training is achieved, among other things, by involving students in practice at the engineering infrastructure facilities of Alabuga SEZ starting from the second half-year of the first year of study.
The main vector of mastering professional skills is WorldSkills standards.
