OOO VoronezhVtorTsvetMet intends to increase its labour productivity by 30% in the next three years and to upgrade its secondary aluminium alloy production. At the end of March 2021, the company became a participant in the Labour Productivity national project. The project implementation is intended for three years. The active phase with the direct participation of experts from the Tatarstan’s Regional Competence Centre takes place during the first six months.
VoronezhVtorTsvetMet produces mainly only one type of product, secondary aluminium alloys, which is why it was chosen as the pilot stream. Based on the example of the selected pilot project, the company will continue on its path of improvement in the future, which will bring them to the forefront of the industry. At the moment, RCC experts from Tatarstan have already trained the project’s working group and enterprise managers on the topics of Effective Info Centre, Lean Production Basics, Project Implementation Methodology, Mapping, Production Analysis, Standardised Work, and also selected an internal trainer for the enterprise who will further train enterprise employees in the basics of lean production.
As of today, the implementation of the project is at the stage of diagnostics. The current state has been mapped, the problems have been identified and digitised, and an action plan to achieve the target state has been developed and approved.
