Tatarstan and Udmurtia expand bilateral cooperation

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov had a meeting today with representatives of the Udmurt Republic via video conferencing. During the meeting, the sides discussed existing formats of interaction aimed at developing bilateral trade and economic cooperation, as well as key joint projects and initiatives.

The meeting was attended by Permanent Representative of the Head  of the Udmurt Republic to the Russian President Mikhail Khomich, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Udmurt Republic Konstantin Suntsov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Udmurt Republic Victor Lashkarev, Deputy Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Marina Yepifantseva, Deputy Director General of the Tatarstan State Order Agency Anton Valeryevich and Chairman of the Board of the Tatarstan Mechanical Engineering Cluster Sergey Mayorov.

Also during the event, representatives of leading companies from Udmurtia (IzhSpetsKomplekt, PAKKA, Novy Dom, PromTekhKomplekt, and Axion) and Tatarstan (Danex, TESK) presented their products for further cooperation.

The videoconference participants expressed their hope that the event would open a series of face-to-face meetings to further develop trade and economic relations between Tatarstan and Udmurtia.
