Tatarstan and the Arkhangelsk Oblast have all capacities to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation. This was stated today by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at his meeting with Governor of Arkhangelsk Oblast Aleksandr Tsybulsky. The meeting took place at the Kazan Kremlin.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Aleksandr Tsybulsky for his visit to Tatarstan and his attention to strengthening mutually beneficial relations with the Republic. The Tatarstan President noted that the regions have good traditions of joint work.
Among promising areas of cooperation, the President named digitalisation, the development of online formats of product promotion, procurement and sales, the development of a comfortable urban environment, education and training. He also suggested developing cooperation in shipbuilding, cultural heritage preservation and the oil industry.
Aleksandr Tsybulsky pointed out that the cooperation between Tatarstan and the Arkhangelsk Oblast is very substantial. The delegation’s visit to the Republic resulted in the signing of 4 agreements, including agreements in the sphere of higher education and information technologies.
During their working visit, the delegation, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov and representatives of the Corporation and plant management, also visited the Zelenodolsk Shipyard.
