Tatarstan and Enel representatives in Russia discussed bilateral cooperation

Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov held a meeting with representatives of Enel Group. The event was attended by Director General of PAO Enel Russia Stephane Zweguintzow and Director General of OOO Enel X Rus Aleksey Leonov.

Enel Russia is a country’s key asset of Enel Group, an international energy company and the leading integrated player on the global market of power, gas, and renewable energy. The company operates in the Russian Federation and its production branches include three gas-fired power plants: Konakovskaya GRES, Nevinnomysskaya GRES, and Sredneuralskaya GRES.  In addition, Enel Russia implements three wind power projects: Azovskaya TPP (90 MW), Kolskaya TPP (201 MW) and Rodnikovskaya TPP (71 MW). Enel Russia provides electricity and heat to industrial enterprises and household consumers through local distribution networks, which are mainly located in the European part of the Russian Federation and the Urals.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues aimed at strengthening cooperation between them in Tatarstan in the field of renewable energy development, micro-generation, providing charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and the opportunity of applying technologies that allow the two-way exchange between the electric vehicle and the grid.
