On March 25-27, the Ot Winta! (Off We Go!) Festival of Children’s and Youth’s Scientific and Technical Creativity will take place in Krasnodar. Its participants include inventors and innovators from Tatarstan. They will present such projects as an innovative biogas unit, which became a prize-winner in the 2019 Project Olympiad, as well as the concept of space modelling youth centres designed to become centres of attraction for young technicians and designers across the country.
The Ot Winta! International Festival is a key youth event of the Year of Science and Technology. The festival has become a communication platform where young inventors, scientists, heads of federal ministries and agencies, governors and regional supervisors of science and technology meet together.
The Technoforum will be held as part of the Festival; its central topic will be attracting young people into the field of science and technology. Heads of federal ministries and agencies, scientific institutions and leaders of youth initiatives will discuss how to build a system involving young people in science and engineering. The Technoforum programme includes over 200 official events.
The annual International Festival of Children’s and Youth’s Scientific and Technical Creativity was initiated in 2005 and has been successfully held in various Russian regions and abroad. This year, Krasnodar is set to become its permanent venue.
