Minister Karimov visited Buryatia as part of Tatarstan delegation

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, as part of the Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, arrived on a working visit to Buryatia.

As part of his working trip to Buryatia, Minister Karimov visited the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant (U-UAZ) accompanied by Plant’s Managing Director Leonid Belykh, and Head of Buryatia Aleksey Tsydenov, toured the plant’s production facilities. At the blanking and forging plant, they talked about the upgrading of the technical facilities that had been carried out.

At the aggregate assembly plant, Albert Karimov studied the production of Mi-8/17 helicopters, the light multipurpose Ka-226T, and the new Mi-171A3. Then he toured the final assembly shop and the paint shop.

He also visited the new logistics centre, the opening of which is planned in the near future. The commissioning of this centre would create the necessary conditions and infrastructure for the storage of inventory, to ensure the implementation of new digital technologies for the organisation of warehousing.

After visiting the plant, Minister Karimov took part in a meeting of the Russian Helicopters’ Board of Directors. The meeting was chaired by Chairman of the Board Anatoly Serdyukov. The participants summarised the financial results for 2020 and discussed the implementation of investment projects by enterprises of the holding.
