Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov paid a visit to the Moscow Polytechnic University as part of the Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Within their working trip to Moscow, the Tatarstan delegation visited the Engineering Development Centre and design and production laboratories for sports cars, machining processes, and composite materials. In addition, representatives of the University administration acquainted President Minnikhanov with activities of the Industrial Design Scientific and Technical Centre.
A meeting with University’s Principal Vladimir Miklushevsky also took place, where issues of cooperation in scientific and educational spheres were discussed.
As reported earlier, over 100 students from Tatarstan are currently studying at the Moscow Polytechnic University.
The Moscow Polytechnic University has been closely cooperating with Tatarstan in a number of areas. These include cooperation with major industrial enterprises, such as KAMAZ, Kazan Helicopters, etc., as well as with the Innopolis University. As part of the volunteer movement, Moscow Polytech closely cooperates with ANO Directorate for Sports and Social Projects.
