A Ford Transit van was awarded a diploma at the prestigious All-Russian 100 Best Goods of Russia contest in the Capital Goods category and can now be awarded the 100 Best Goods of Russia mark.
The 100 Best Goods of Russia is a nationwide award organised by Rosstandart and the Academy of Quality Problems, an interregional public organisation. The aim of the contest is to support processes to improve the quality and competitiveness of domestic goods and services. The contest was held this year for the 23rd time.
The Ford Transit mobile vending vehicle was nominated for the contest by Sollers Ford’s partner, the ST Alabuga bodybuilder, which directly builds special versions of Ford Transit-based vehicles.
The truck is a special version built on the extra-long chassis of Ford Transit with GVW of 4700 kg. The vehicle is equipped with a 2.2-litre diesel engine rated at 155 hp, rear-wheel drive and manual 6-speed transmission. The large interior volume of the van allows a flexible use of working space. The vehicle is equipped with standard and refrigerated cabinets, shelves, containers, a sink with an autonomous water supply system, a tilting counter table, and a protective mobile “visor” outside the vehicle. At the customer’s request, the list of equipment can be modified to suit the purpose and function of the truck.
