Tatarstan made it to the finals of the annual All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving and Ecology #VmesteYarche (Brighter Together) contest. The jury chose a flash mob video on the topic of energy saving and a new festival anthem presented by the Kazan State Power Engineering University.
In the current festival’s anniversary year, a total of 95 works from almost all regions of Russia were submitted to the flash mob contest. The jury saw 95 videos with the participation of 4,212 people, including schoolchildren, teachers, students of universities and colleges, employees of fuel and energy companies, pre-schoolers, employees of cultural centres and libraries. 27 works were submitted for the contest for a new official song of the #VmesteYarche festival. Tatarstan has become one of the most active participants in both projects.
The Federal Organising Committee of the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving and Ecology #VmesteYarche has selected 30 flash mobs and 10 songs for participation in the final stage of the contest.
In the context of the new conditions in which the contest will be held in 2020 because of the epidemiological situation, the timing of winner selection was changed. The results will be announced no later than the Power Engineer’s Day on December 22.
All finalists’ videos, including those of the Kazan State Power Engineering University, were published on the festival’s YouTube channel in Playlists section.
