Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov had a meeting with Minister of Industrial Policies of the Kirov Region Andrey Pereskokov. The purpose of the Kirov region delegation’s visit to Tatarstan was to acquire the accumulated expertise in arranging the activities of the Tatarstan’s Regional Competence Centre for Labour Productivity, as well as to evaluate the Process Factory training platform.

The Labour Productivity and Employment Support national project was approved by President Vladimir Putin in 2018 and is intended to create conditions for continuous growth in country’s labour productivity. For this, a set of governmental support measures has been developed for business, which includes financial incentives, expert assistance in optimising production processes, introduction of online services into the digital ecosystem of an enterprise participating in the national project; formation of a movement of innovators with the involvement of WorldSkills experts and infrastructure.

The main contractor of the national project activities in Tatarstan is the Tatarstan’s Regional Competence Centre for Labour Productivity (RCC) established in 2017.

To conduct practical training for employees of enterprises participating in the national project, the “Process Factory” was created in 2020, a training production site where participants gain practical experience in using lean manufacturing and production optimisation tools.
