Youth policy discussed by SoyuzMash Bureau and Defence Assistance League

On November 27, chaired by head of the Russian Engineering Union (SoyuzMash) and head of the Rostec Corporation Sergey Chemezov, an expanded meeting was held by the Bureau of the SoyuzMash and the League for Assistance to Defence Enterprises Association. The topic of discussion was the development vectors of the youth policy at the SoyuzMash. The meeting was held via videoconference.

Sergey Chemezov noted that the SoyuzMash of Russia has been actively implementing youth policy in the mechanical engineering industry for more than ten years by overseeing technical education and training of qualified workers, as well as engineering and technical specialists. Now the Union includes 87 higher educational institutions and 18 secondary vocational education institutions.

In his speech, First Vice President of SoyuzMash Vladimir Gutenyov reported on the achieved results of the youth policy at SoyuzMash in accordance with the tasks set by the President of Russia: the implementation of ambitious engineering projects and participation in global leadership.

Special attention at the meeting was paid to the large-scale youth forum “Engineers of the Future”, the All-Russian Forum “Scientific and Technical Development and the Global Leadership Tasks”, as well as the No-Turnstile Week campaign.

The most active participation in this event was taken by young employees of industrial enterprises at 40 regional branches of the Russian Engineering Union.
