A leading manufacturer of the woodworking industry in Russia, Kastamonu, produced more than 1 million square metres of laminate for houses built under the renovation programme in Moscow.
Materials for finishing apartments under the Moscow renovation programme were produced at the Kastamonu plant located in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan. The basis for the deliveries was a laminate of wear-resistance class 32, which fully meets all the necessary requirements and standards for use in residential premises. In total, in 2019 and 2020, the company produced more than 1 million square metres of laminate, which was used in the construction of renovation houses.
The laminates supplied by Kastamonu for the renovation programme are environmentally friendly, highly resistant to mechanical stress, including scratches, stains, and UV rays. In addition, the products have confirmed certificates for hygiene and compliance with formaldehyde emission standards. The company undergoes international audits on a quarterly basis for product compliance with these and many other environmental and quality standards.
In Russia, Kastamonu cooperates widely with major developers, federal and regional retail chains, and non-chain distributors.
The housing renovation programme in Moscow was approved on June 1, 2017 and provides for the resettlement of more than 350,000 apartments.
