Today, Kazan hosted the final zonal stage of the 8th Our Time - Beznen Zaman Republic’s Annual Open TV Festival of Working Youth Creativity in 2020 that is held with the support from Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and under the auspices of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO.
For representatives of blue-collar jobs, this has become a long-awaited event, for which they have been preparing throughout the year, often conducting rehearsals online. The first zonal stage took place on November 13-14 in Almetyevsk.
The final zonal stage was held on November 20 and 21 in the concert hall of the Volga Region Academy of Physical Culture, Sports, and Tourism. More than 400 contestants from 60 enterprises and organisations of Tatarstan took part in it.
As the organisers noted, the festival was held in compliance with all epidemiological requirements. The performances of the participants, which were highly appreciated by the jury, were dedicated to two significant dates for the republic, the 100th anniversary of the TASSR and the 75th anniversary of the Victory in WWII.
All winners will meet again in Kazan on November 27 and 28 at the festival’s super-finals, where they will compete for the title of the Grand Prix winner to be announced at the traditional gala concert on November 30 at the Pyramid Entertainment Centre. It is planned that the Tatarstan President’s Challenge Cup and a RUB 500,000 cash prize will be presented to the winning team personally by Rustam Minnikhanov.
