Finalists determined for flash mob and song contests of #VmesteYarche festival

The Federal Organising Committee of the #VmesteYarche All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving and Ecology announces the first stage results of the flash mob contest dedicated to careful attitude to energy resources and work of energy sector employees, as well as the contest of creating a new official festival song. A total of 30 flash mobs and 10 songs were chosen for the contest finals. Contestants include schoolchildren and teachers, university and college students, employees of fuel and energy companies, pre-schoolers and educationists, employees of community centres and libraries.

In the festival’s jubilee year, 95 submissions were received for the flash mob contest, almost all Russian regions took part in it. The most active participants in the contest were residents of the Amur Region, Rostov Region, Leningrad Region, and Tatarstan.

Altogether, 27 submissions were received to the new official song contest for the #VmesteYarche festival. The most active participants were authors from Kemerovo and Tambov regions. The contestants presented original texts and pieces of music in different styles, worked hard to create video clips and images of performers.

The results and winners will be announced no later than the Power Engineer’s Day (December 22, 2020), the exact date will be chosen by the Festival’s Federal Organising Committee. Minnikhanov: some 120,000 work in our mechanical engineering sector today

There are more than 3,000 mechanical engineering enterprises employing about 120,000 people in the republic today. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said this today in Naberezhnye Chelny at a ceremony dedicated to the Mechanical Engineer’s Day. Before the official ceremony, the President toured an exhibition of products manufactured by Tatarstan’s mechanical engineering companies. The exhibition displayed trucks, buses, tractors, electric cars, charging stations, gas turbine power plants, medical equipment, etc. Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the industry workers on their professional holiday and stressed that despite all the difficulties, this year there has been a dynamic growth in the indicators of the enterprises. During the first seven months of 2021, products worth RUB 408 billion were shipped, which is 1.5 times higher than in 2019. Positive changes are shown both by large companies and midsize enterprises in small towns. The Tatarstan President also expressed gratitude to long-service workers of the sector, noting that many companies employ several generations of working families. Then, President Minnikhanov presented a number of Tatarstan awards for great contribution to the development of the mechanical engineering sector.

Minister Karimov met with students of KNRTU-KHTI

Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov held an open meeting with students of the Kazan National Research Technological University. During the event, Minister Karimov delivered a comprehensive speech on the topic “Tatarstan’s Manufacturing Industry as the Main Driver of Regional Economic Development”, during which he outlined the main achievements of industrial sectors in Tatarstan and spoke about the main achievements and trends in the republic’s manufacturing industry development. In his welcome address he pointed out that the main source of labour productivity is the transition to Industry 4.0, the industrial revolution based on massive implementation of information technologies. Today, a marking system is applied in production facilities that allows one to track the location of a product. There are examples of smart factories where machines communicate with each other via the internet and produce personalised products without human intervention.
