From September 21 to 26, the Kazan State Power Engineering University will host the International Scientific Workshop named after Yu. N. Rudenko “Methodological Problems in Reliability Study of Large Energy Systems”. The event brings together experts in reliability of various energy sectors, including those from alternative sources, Wind Power and Solar Power Engineering.

The topic of the Workshop’s 92nd meeting is “Reliability of Energy Supply to Consumers in the Context of Their Digitalisation”. A total of 170 participants (136 of them in person) from nine Russian regions, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as from the CIS countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan) were announced for the event.

The Workshop was established at the Melentiev Energy Systems Institute of Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and bears the name of its organiser, Academician of the RAS, a world-renowned scientist in the field of power, the founder of reliability theory in energy Yuri Rudenko.

Organisers are the Melentiev Energy Systems Institute and the Kazan State Power Engineering University (KSPEU) with the participation from the St. Petersburg Power Engineering Institute for Advanced Training.
