The Tatarstan Government Quality Award ceremony was held today as part of the Mechanical Engineering. Metalworking. Welding. Kazan exhibition programme.
Quality awards are an effective tool of governmental incentives for organisations that have determined the main course to improve the quality of their products and services. This is an important factor in solving tasks of creating a competitive economy and improving the quality of life for citizens.
The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, Head of the ANO Russian Quality System Maksim Protasov, and others.
The 15th Tatarstan Government Quality Award open competition started in January of this year. This year, 83 organisations took part in it: 70 of them in the Business Excellence category and 13 organisations in the Production Systems category. The participants also included 6 organisations from outside Tatarstan: Samara, Tomsk, Krasnodar, Uren (Nizhny Novgorod Region), and Beloretsk (Bashkortostan).
At the end of the Award ceremony, the Agreement on Interaction was signed between ANO Russian Quality System and the Tatarstan Government. The signatories to the document were Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the ANO Russian Quality System Maksim Protasov.
