21 November 2019, Thursday

POZIS (part of the Techmash Concern of Rostec Corporation) received subsidies in the amount of more than RUB 1 million as part of the “Older Generation” federal programme of the Demography National Project.

The company signed an agreement with the Employment Centre of Zelenodolsk (Republic of Tatarstan) on the provision of subsidies from the budget for the training of personnel aged 50 years and older. By becoming a participant in the federal Older Generation programme, the company received an opportunity not to allocate its own funds for these purposes.

The opportunity to take short-term courses for jobs in demand was given to 58 employees of pre-retirement age. Some 36 employees of the enterprise received vocational training in the Construction Metal Worker job. Classes in this area are organised by using the qualification requirements of Professional Standards 2020. To improve the skills of assembly processes, each student attended lectures, completed practical training at the workplace, and received a reference book for construction metal workers issued by the POZIS Personnel Training Centre.

After completing the full course and successful final certification, participants will be issued certificates in the established format on the qualifications obtained.
