4 October 2019, Friday

Deputy Minister Aleksey Savelchev held a working meeting with representatives of DESO (USA) and Coşkunöz Alabuga. The main issue on the agenda was the discussion of the opportunity of localising a joint project by DESO and Coşkunöz Holding (Turkey) in Tatarstan.

Coşkunöz Holding is a Turkey-based company founded in 1950. It is engaged in the production of welding machines, press equipment in the automotive sector, metal production and processing. In 2014, the company opened its branch in the Alabuga SEZ. As of now, Coşkunöz Alabuga is a manufacturer of interior and exterior parts, chassis, dashboard parts, fuel tanks, door fasteners, and other automotive products.

DESO is headquartered in California (USA) and is introducing advanced technologies for the treatment of liquid industrial waste, tank bottoms, and sludge.

Within the framework of the joint project between DESO and Coşkunöz Holding, company’s representatives would implement the introduction of technology for industrial waste treatment for the companies in oil-producing and other industries.

“DESO can clean crudes from simple waste oils to tank bottoms, tar sands, Canadian bitumen packed with contaminants and emulsified, cleaned back to non-detect BS&W. The result is clean dirt, clean water and clean oil”, said Kaan Akyalcin, company’s CEO.
