16 September 2019, Monday

Many good parting words were said today on the RariTEK Group site to the participants of the Blue Corridor - Gas into Engines 2019 gas motor rally. Representatives of the Gazprom Gas Motor Fuel and KAMAZ, top executives of the RariTEK Group, colleagues, relatives, and friends came to support the participants.

The participating vehicles include the KAMAZ 651156 truck tractor with a grain-carrying semitrailer, the LOTOS 105 bus of RariTEK production, and the Hyundai HD 78 van that run on liquefied natural gas (methane). The rally also involved the crews of the Gazprom Gas Motor Fuel and KAMAZ.

The rally will start on September 20. The event is organised by Gazprom and Germany’s Uniper SE. The race features cars, trucks and passenger vehicles powered by compressed and liquefied natural gas. The rally demonstrates the reliability of methane-driven vehicles and focuses on stress on long-distance and ultra-long-distance transportation opportunities for passengers and goods.

The length of the rally section in Russia is 2,760 kilometres. Its route will pass through the Rostovskaya, Voronezhskaya, Belgorodskaya, Moskovskaya, Novgorodskaya, and Leningradskaya oblasts. The race will finish on October 3 at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg.
