Tatarstan buses delivered to neighbouring republic’s capital

14 June 2019, Friday

A ceremonial handover of thirteen LOTOS 105 city buses took place in Cheboksary. The receipt and commissioning of new passenger vehicles was made part of the Day of Russia celebrations in the capital of the Chuvash Republic.

The buses are manufactured by RMZ RariTEK (part of RariTEK Group) based on the Foton vehicle and are fully assembled in Tatarstan, in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. LOTOS 105 buses meet the highest requirements for safety, comfort, and environmental friendliness. Natural gas methane is used as a fuel; therefore, there are virtually no harmful emissions and the cost of fuel and lubricants is much lower.

Buses are low-floor and adapted for the transportation of low mobility people. They have a folding ramp and special places for priority seating. Railings are equipped with stop-on-request buttons. In addition, the buses have installed electronic route indicators, video surveillance systems and climate control, together with USB connectors for charging mobile devices at each row of seats.

Buses manufactured by RMZ RariTEK are successfully operated today on passenger lines in such Russian cities as Cheboksary, Khanty-Mansiysk, Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Crimea, Chelyabinsk, Ryazan, Balashikha, Khimki, Nadym, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, as well as in Kokshetau (Republic of Kazakhstan).
