The Lyceum with Extensive Learning of Chemistry for Gifted Children, a branch of the Kazan National Research Technological University (KNRTU) heard the last bell ringing for its 2019 graduates. Heroes of the day, jointly with their class teachers, were greeted with loud applause by honoured guests, parents, teachers, educators, and students of the Lyceum. This year, 24 lyceum students (pupils of 11th grade) are graduating from the Chemical Lyceum.
On this day, the graduates were congratulated by Lyceum Director Liliya Ibrasheva, Head of the Zelenodolsk Municipal District and Mayor of Zelenodolsk Aleksandr Tygin, Director of the Institute of Continuing Education Lyubov Ovsienko, Head of Corporate Management Dept. at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Andrey Fyodorov, teachers, educators, and parents.
Eight Lyceum students of 9th and 11th grades became gold medallists. Throughout the celebrations, words of appreciation and gratitude were addressed to the entire teaching staff of the Lyceum and warm wishes were extended to the graduates. This year, a new tradition was born in the Lyceum: each graduating class planted one apple tree in the schoolyard. At the end of the day, the graduates sent aloft colourful balloons into the sky, while making their wishes.
