Last week, Russia's largest gas motor service centre, RariTEK, opened its doors to guests from various countries. At present, the entire methane-powered fleet of Naberezhnye Chelny is served here. However, the RariTEK Technical Centre aims for more – it can serve all gas-powered vehicles in the republic, which is more than 5,000 buses, trucks, and special machinery.
The unique facility was visited today by Deputy Chairman of Gazprom Board Vitaly Markelov, Director General of KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin, Executive Vice President of Cavagna Group Rino Cavagna, CEO of Power and Gas Division at Siemens AG Meixner Willibald, and other guests.
The delegation was composed of more than 200 representatives of large foreign and domestic businesses interested in the gas conversion of transport to improve its environmental friendliness and reduce financial costs.
At the close of many-hour tour of the RariTEK Technical Centre, all guests attended the Working Committee meeting of the International Business Congress “Up-to-Date Technologies and Promising Projects in the Petrochemical Complex” moderated by Deputy Chairman of Gazprom Board Vitaly Markelov.
