The first of the three award ceremonies of the Tatarstan’s regional Young Professionals competition (WorldSkills Russia) in 2018-2019 took place at the assembly hall of the Kazan Construction College. Awards were presented to 85 winners who took prizes in 22 skills assigned to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan. The award ceremony was attended by Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov and Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Rafis Burganov.
In his welcoming speech, Albert Karimov expressed his gratitude to all participants of the competition. In addition, the Minister announced new challenges for the participants – these are thorough preparation and holding of the National Competition and the 45th WorldSkills Competition in Kazan. Holding the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 will provide an opportunity to learn from the experience of foreign participants and global practices thus making it possible to introduce the best foreign innovations in the training of highly qualified professionals for the real sector of Tatarstan’s economy.
The Tatarstan’s regional Young Professionals competition (WorldSkills Russia) was held at 13 sites on November 13 to 16, 2018 in 31 skills assigned to the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.
