On October 25, the meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Ildar Mingaleyev and Head of the Kazan Branch of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia Oleg Isaev. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Director of BSVT-New Technologies (BSVT-NT) Eduard Shvalyuk. During the conversation, issues of cooperation were discussed between the BSVT-NT and Russia’s defence industry enterprises for the production of dual-use products. The parties expressed interest in developing mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in the military technology sphere, with due account for the agreements reached during the discussions between Eduard Shvalyuk and defence industry representatives in Tatarstan held with the assistance from the Kazan Branch of the Belarussian Embassy and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan.
BSVT-New Technologies is engaged in the development and production of a wide range of military products (optical electronic devices, small arms and ammunitions, self-propelled robotic systems, etc.). The enterprise is a structural subdivision of Belspetsvneshnekhnika, a government-owned foreign trade enterprise.
