Results of regional MediaTEK contest summed up

In mid-August, the working committee summed up the results of the regional stage of the 4th All-Russian Contest for the Media, Energy Sector Press Services, and Regional Administrations. The MediaTEK contest is held in two stages, regional and federal. In the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade is the authorised body for holding the regional stage of the contest.

Application process lasted from June 5 to August 1, 2018; a total of 12 applications in 10 categories were submitted for participation in the regional stage of the contest. When summing up the results of the regional MediaTEK contest, the members of the competitive commissions have voted to determine the winners.

Further on, the projects of the regional stage winners will be sent to the federal stage. The Expert Council of the federal stage comprises heads of Russia’s mainstream business media, journalism faculties of Russian universities, representatives of public authorities, experts in the field of fuel and energy; the Expert Council is headed by Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov. The results of the federal contest will be summed up within the framework of the Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum “Russian Energy Week” to be held on October 3 to 6, 2018 in Moscow.
