Meeting of the Russian-Chinese working group in Kazan

Within the framework of the 9th International Specialised Exhibition “Aerospace Technologies, Advanced Materials, and Equipment”, the 6th meeting of the Russian-Chinese Task Force on Standardisation in Civil Aviation and Civil Aircraft Building was held on August 10 and 11, 2018.

The Russian-Chinese special standardisation group was formed by a joint decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China in 2015.

The Task Force from the Russian side comprises representatives of the Zhukovsky Institute National Research Centre, the Union of Aviation Industrialists of Russia, the United Aircraft Corporation, the Russian Helicopters, the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute, and the Sukhoi New Civil Technologies. In turn, the Chinese side includes representatives of the following executive authorities and organizations: SAC, AQSIQ, CAPE, COMAC, and AVIC.

During the 6th meeting, the parties discussed the joint application of standards to ensure the creation of a promising joint Russian-Chinese wide-body aircraft, as well as a joint Russian-Chinese heavy transport helicopter.
