Tatarstan’s Permanent Office in St. Petersburg recognised as one of the most active missions

On December 20, the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg held a ceremonial event dedicated to summing up the results of 2017, inviting the representatives from city authorities, all 23 representative offices of Russian regions working in the area, and business communities.

The Committee is the main curator of the representative offices of the Russian regions in St. Petersburg, conducts analysis and monitoring, and interacts with the Governor's Office of St. Petersburg in the development of interregional relations.

Following the results of 2017, the Permanent Representative Office of the Republic of Tatarstan in the city of St. Petersburg was recognised as one of the most active representative offices in the area in terms of the number of events, business missions, presentations, cultural and educational projects, and interaction with St. Petersburg’s authorities. The Permanent Representative of Tatarstan Renat Valiullin was awarded with the Letter of Appreciation from the Chairman of the External Relations Committee of St. Petersburg for his active assistance in the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and friendly relations between St. Petersburg and the Republic of Tatarstan in 2017.
