Russian Helicopters handed over another Ansat under GTLK contract

Under the contract with the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK), the Russian Helicopters Holding has delivered another medevac Ansat helicopter manufactured by the Kazan Helicopters. The rotorcraft will be operated in the Kostroma region. The helicopter became the last of the six ones delivered under the 2017 contract.

Helicopters were transferred within the framework of the top-priority project to ensure timeliness in providing emergency medical aid to citizens living in hard-to-access areas of Russia. Under the contract this year, the GTLK will receive a total of 29 helicopters.

Equipped with the newest medevac module, Ansat allows to both carry out scheduled transportation of patients and can serve the functions of an intensive care unit and monitoring of victims’ vital functions during flights to hospitals.
