The arrival of volunteering employees of Boeing to Kazan has become a tradition. For the third year running, a joint educational initiative of Boeing and Junior Achievement Russia, “Aviation from A to Z”, include lectures in Kazan schools.
The programme of Aviation from A to Z incorporates several formats, an online knowledge test in aviation, lectures of volunteers from Boeing, and a contest of innovative solutions. Each year, several thousand schoolchildren take part in the programme, and for the third year now, lectures are held in Kazan schools, along with Moscow.
On November 9-10, Boeing experts delivered lectures at the IT Lyceum of the Kazan Federal University, the Lyceum Engineering Centre, and held a separate open lecture at the First Children's Coworking site, which were attended by school companies of Kazan. The presentation topics were “History of Aviation”, “How the Plane Flies”, and “History of the Boeing 747 Legendary Model”.
The lectures were attended by a total of 300 Kazan students of grades 5-11.
