Thailand's MoD plans to buy two Mi-17V-5 helicopters made in Kazan

Within the framework of the agreement signed by Rosoboronexport, the Russian Helicopters Holding will sell an additional batch of two military transport helicopters Mi-17V-5 manufactured at the Kazan Helicopters to the Ministry of Defence of Thailand.

At the moment, over 4,500 Mi-8/17 helicopters fly today in more than 90 countries worldwide. The majority of helicopters are currently operated in the Asian-Pacific, CIS, African, and Middle East countries.
